Three layouts that work
Pull-out drawer bank — full-extension drawers under each tread for shoes, scarves and the daily clutter that gathers by the front door. Hidden cupboard — a single full-height door behind the tallest part of the stair, ideal for the vacuum, ironing board and coats. Open shoe wall — angled shelves following the stringer, with a low bench for putting shoes on.

- Under-stair home office nook with integrated lighting
Surveying an angled space
Every staircase is different. Our surveys laser-measure each tread, the stringer angle and the available depth — then the wardrobe design follows that geometry rather than fighting it.
Frequently asked questions
- Will pull-out drawers under stairs be sturdy enough for shoes?
- Yes — we use full-extension runners rated to 30 kg per drawer, plenty for shoes and bags.
- Can you fit lighting in an under-stairs cupboard?
- Yes — battery-powered or wired LED strips with a motion sensor are a popular addition.
