Our guarantee, in plain English

A guarantee is only useful if you can actually understand it. Below is what SAV covers, for how long, and what we'll do if something goes wrong. There's no separate terms-and-conditions PDF; this is it.

Lifetime on carcasses and hardware

The carcass (the box that holds everything together), the hinges, the soft-close mechanisms, the drawer runners and the sliding-door tracks are guaranteed for the lifetime of the wardrobe in its installed location. If any of these fails in normal residential use, we'll repair or replace it free.

10 years on colour-fastness

Every laminate finish we supply is UV-stable and rated against yellowing and fading for normal indoor conditions. We guarantee colour-fastness for 10 years — if a door visibly fades or yellows in that window, we'll re-supply it.

2 years on motorised parts

Motion-sensor LED lighting, motorised tie racks, and powered shoe carousels carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty. We administer the warranty for you — if something goes wrong, call us, not the manufacturer.

What we'll do if something goes wrong

Email or call us with your order reference. We respond within two business days. For most issues we'll book a warranty visit within two weeks; for genuine emergencies (a fallen door, a failed sliding track) we'll be there within 48 hours.

If repair isn't possible we'll re-manufacture the affected part. If the original finish has been discontinued we'll work with you on the closest alternative.

Frequently asked questions

Is the guarantee transferable if I sell the house?
Yes — the guarantee follows the wardrobe, not the original buyer. The new homeowner just needs the original order reference.
What voids the guarantee?
Modifications by other trades, water damage from leaks, deliberate damage and use in non-residential settings (rental properties are fine; commercial fit-outs are quoted separately).
How quickly do you respond to a warranty call?
We respond within two business days and most warranty visits happen within two weeks. Genuine emergencies (a door that's fallen off, a track that's failed) we'll get to within 48 hours.
