Before install day
You'll have a confirmed install date at order. A week before, we email a checklist: clear the room of furniture, remove anything from the existing wardrobes, take down curtains if they touch the wardrobe wall.
We deliver pre-cut, pre-finished, and labelled by location. There's no flat-pack packaging in your home and no on-site finishing.
On the day
We arrive between 8 and 9 am with two installers and a van of materials. Dust sheets go down on the route from front door to bedroom. We move the panels in, assemble carcasses, scribe to the wall, hang doors and fit the interior.
Most single-wall fitted wardrobes are done in one day. Larger runs, walk-in dressing rooms or anything with sliding tracks take two days. We aim to leave by 5 pm.
Sign-off
At the end, we walk through every door, drawer and rail with you. If anything's not right, we note it and either fix it on the spot or book a snagging return within two weeks.
All installation waste — offcuts, packaging, dust — goes back in the van. We don't leave anything behind.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to be home for the install?
- Someone needs to be present at the start to let us in and at the end to sign off. Between those, you can be in or out — we'll work around you.
- Do you protect the floors and walls?
- Yes. We put down dust sheets along the route from front door to bedroom and lay corner protection on the doorways. Walls are covered where we're working.
- Will there be dust?
- Very little. Everything is pre-cut at the workshop. On-site we're mostly assembling and fixing, not cutting. If we need to trim anything, we use a dust-extracted track saw.
- Can you install in flats with stair access only?
- Yes — all our doors and panels are sized to fit through standard 760 mm doorways and around stair landings. We confirm access at survey.
