Sliding Mirror — the slim sliding door that doubles your light
Mirrored panels in a slim anodised frame, mounted on top-hung soft-close sliders. Pick plain silver, bronze or smoked grey tint — built for rooms where a hinged door would block circulation.

About this style
Sliding wardrobes solve the one problem hinged wardrobes can't always solve: clearance. In a 2.7m-wide London bedroom, opening a hinged door eats half the floor. Sliders run flush with the wall and reflect daylight back across the room.
We use lightly antiqued mirror in plain, bronze or grey tint — never harsh silver — which softens reflections and hides minor wall imperfections behind. The frame is a 20mm anodised aluminium profile, available in matching warm bronze, brushed brass or charcoal.
Best for
- Bedrooms under 3m wide where swing clearance is tight
- North or east-facing rooms that need bounced light
- Loft conversions with restricted side-room
Things to consider
- Sliding doors only ever reveal half the wardrobe at a time — plan zoning carefully
- Top-hung sliders need a level ceiling or pelmet; we add a sub-frame if the ceiling drifts
- Mirror is real glass; we install with safety backing as standard
Pairs well with
Linen curtains, brass wall lights, a tonal wool rug. Configure with handleless integrated pulls and motion-sensor LED inside each bay.
