One-Panel Hinged — a single recessed panel for quiet detail
One recessed panel per door — the calmest of our panelled hinged options. Reads as joinery without the period weight of a full shaker run.

About this style
A single panel sits inside a slim moulded frame on each door. The detail is subtle from across the room and only reveals itself up close, which makes one-panel a good fit for transitional interiors that aren't strictly period.
Like our multi-panel shaker, it's CNC-routed from a single blank for a clean, gap-free face, and finished in any of our Plain laminate colours.
Best for
- 1930s and 1950s London homes that sit between period and modern
- Bedrooms where the wardrobe should feel considered, not ornate
- Pairing with handleless push-to-open for a softer take
Things to consider
- Plain laminate colours only — no wood grain or texture decors
- On doors over 2.4m the single panel can look elongated; consider two-panel instead
- Push-to-open needs a clear runback in front of the door
Pairs well with
Limewash walls, warm oak floors, brushed brass spotlights. Configure with double-hang bays for couples and a top-box row for seasonal storage.
