Working with the bay geometry
Most London bays are three-faced and rarely square. We laser-scan the bay and design a seat that follows the exact angles — splayed front faces, slim mitres, and a continuous cushion that spans the whole seat.
Frequently asked questions
- Can you build a window seat where there's a radiator?
- Yes — the radiator usually moves or is replaced with under-bench convector trench heating, which we coordinate with your plumber.
- What cushion thickness is comfortable?
- We use a 75 mm foam core wrapped in a Dacron fill, which sits soft but holds shape over years.
