Fitted Wardrobes West London — Premium Bespoke Joinery

Made-to-measure fitted wardrobes designed, manufactured and installed across West London. From white stucco terraces in Kensington to mansion flats in Richmond, we build joinery that meets the standard of the address.

West London demands a particular approach to fitted furniture. The houses are often larger, the interiors more finished, and the expectation is that built-in joinery should feel like part of the original architecture rather than an afterthought. We have worked in Chelsea townhouses, Victorian villas in Hammersmith, and Arts and Crafts houses in Chiswick — and in every case the brief is the same: make it look like it has always been there.

Boroughs we serve in West London

Brent

Brent covers Wembley, Willesden, and Kilburn — a diverse borough with Victorian terraces, 1930s semis, and significant new development around Wembley Park. The Victorian stock in Kilburn and Queens Park has the usual quirks: chimney breasts, bay windows, and alcoves that need bespoke wardrobes. The 1930s houses in Willesden Green and Kensal Rise have larger bedrooms where we can fit full-wall designs with mixed internals. The new builds need minimal, handleless storage in white or grey.

Ealing

Ealing is one of West London's most family-oriented boroughs, with a mix of Victorian villas, Edwardian semis, and 1930s houses in Acton, Ealing, and Southall. The period properties often have original fireplaces, picture rails, and cornices that clients want to keep, so we design wardrobes that respect these features. The 1930s semis have generous bedrooms where dressing rooms and walk-in wardrobes are viable. We also work in the modern developments around Hanwell and West Ealing.

Harrow

Harrow sits at the north-west edge of London with a strong suburban character. The housing is largely 1930s and post-war, with large bedrooms and plenty of scope for ambitious wardrobe designs. Clients in Pinner, Stanmore, and Hatch End often want traditional-style wardrobes in laminate-faced MDF or oak veneer, with panelled doors and heritage ironmongery. The focus is on durability and timelessness rather than trends.

Hillingdon

Hillingdon is the westernmost London borough, covering Uxbridge, Hayes, and Ruislip. The housing stock is varied — post-war semis, 1930s houses, and pockets of older Victorian properties. Bedrooms tend to be spacious, which means clients can afford to think beyond a simple wall of hanging space. We regularly fit wardrobes with integrated drawers, shoe racks, and pull-out mirrors. The brief is usually practical: family-friendly storage that lasts.

Hounslow

Hounslow covers Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth, and Feltham — a mix of affluent riverside areas and more affordable family housing. The Chiswick and Strand-on-the-Green side has Victorian and Edwardian properties where period-sensitive joinery is essential. Further west, the housing is more varied, and clients often want straightforward, well-built wardrobes in laminate-faced MDF with clean lines and soft-close hardware. We adjust the specification to suit the property and the budget.

Richmond upon Thames

Richmond is one of London's most desirable boroughs, covering Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington, and Barnes. The housing is largely Victorian, Edwardian, and 1930s, with large bedrooms and high expectations for quality. We regularly fit premium wardrobes here — laminate-finished finishes, fine veneers, brass or bronze ironmongery, and integrated lighting. Clients often want the wardrobe to look like original joinery rather than a later addition, which means matching existing woodwork and paying attention to every detail.

High-specification wardrobes for West London homes

West London clients often ask for specifications that go beyond our standard range: leather-lined drawers, brass or bronze ironmongery, back-lit shoe shelves, and motorised hanging rails. We can accommodate most of these within our four-week lead time because we manufacture everything in-house and control the supply chain. If you have a specific material or finish in mind — a particular veneer, a heritage laminate shades, a matching timber — we source it and integrate it into the design.

We also work with interior designers and architects on West London projects, providing technical drawings, samples, and site visits to align our work with the broader scheme. Our surveyor can meet on site with your designer to agree dimensions, finishes, and access routes before anything is manufactured.

Recent West London installs

A recent project in SW3 involved a pair of his-and-hers wardrobes in a Chelsea townhouse master bedroom. His side was dark-stained oak with black steel handles; hers was laminate-finished in "De Nimes" with brushed brass pulls. Both shared the same carcass depth and top line so they read as a single unit, but the interiors were tailored: more hanging on one side, more drawers and shelving on the other.

In W4 we fitted a full dressing room into a converted loft — angled carcass under the eaves, full-height centre section with a pull-out mirror, and low drawers on either side for shoes and accessories. The doors were finished in a pale grey to match the existing woodwork, and the whole install was completed in two days.
